A maple leaf-shaped ceramic dish with turquoise, blue and green reflections, inspired by botanical textures, minerals and natural light.

The Peacock Maple Leaf Dish was imagined as a small botanical object, somewhere between a leaf, a mineral fragment and a decorative piece.

Its shape follows the silhouette of a life-size maple leaf. The organic curves, veins and irregular edges give it a simple, living presence, directly inspired by nature.

Its reactive Peacock glaze blends luminous turquoise, mineral blue, moss green and small brown speckles. Depending on the light, the surface reveals shifting reflections that evoke oxidized minerals, forest moss and peacock feathers.

Both functional and decorative, the Peacock Maple Leaf Dish can be used as:

– a jewelry dish

– a catchall dish

– a small dish for olives or condiments

– an incense holder

– a small botanical object to display

With its vegetal shape and luminous glaze, it brings color, texture and a soft presence to everyday spaces.

Each piece is individually shaped and glazed in my studio in Portugal. Variations in reflections, shape and glaze make every leaf unique.

HANDMADE NOTE

Each Peacock Maple Leaf Dish is made individually. The reactive glaze creates unique nuances during each firing: no turquoise reflection, vein or shape will ever be exactly identical.

CARE

Dishwasher safe.

To preserve the glaze’s shine over time, hand washing is still recommended.
