Laguna is a sculptural stoneware centerpiece, entirely shaped by hand and finished with a crystalline glaze revealing shades of turquoise, blue, green and natural mineral brown.

Each order gives life to a new one-of-a-kind piece, inspired by the creations shown in the photographs but never reproduced identically.

Some pieces cannot happen twice

Laguna is a large handmade ceramic centerpiece, shaped by hand in speckled stoneware and finished with a deeply reactive crystalline blue-green glaze.

Its surface reveals shades of turquoise, blue and green, softened by subtle brown and mineral effects.

The glaze shifts beautifully with the light, creating an almost aquatic quality — like a fragment of landscape captured in ceramic.

Its organic edges are intentionally left more raw, revealing the clay in its most natural form: irregular, textured and almost geological.

Although Laguna is not part of my Drapée series, it carries the same sense of movement and sculptural presence. Its fluid, free-form silhouette is designed to transform a dining table, kitchen island or living space.

At its centre, a circular flat opening allows the piece to evolve depending on how you choose to use it. Laguna can become a sculptural centerpiece, fruit bowl, candle holder or simply a decorative object in its own right.

Above all, Laguna was created as a presence — the kind of object that brings texture, depth and character to an interior without ever feeling overly formal.

A unique piece created for you

The photographs shown on this page feature previous Laguna pieces that have already been sold.

They are intended as a reference for the overall spirit of the design, its glaze, movement and proportions.

Your order will therefore not be an exact reproduction of one of the pieces shown.

I will create a new and entirely unique Laguna especially for you, within the same visual universe: the same crystalline glaze, the same sense of movement, the same organic edges and sculptural presence — but with its own individual shape and firing reactions.

Every piece is shaped entirely by hand, without a mould, and the glaze reacts differently during every firing.

Two Laguna pieces can therefore never be perfectly identical — and they are not meant to be.

That is what makes every order a true one-of-a-kind creation.

The pieces shown measure approximately:

40 × 26 × 5 cm

Central opening: approximately 11 cm in diameter.

As every Laguna is individually shaped by hand, its dimensions and proportions may vary slightly from one order to another.

These variations are part of the character of the piece.

Handmade character

Every Laguna is individually shaped, dried, bisque fired, glazed and fired again at high temperature.

The crystalline glaze naturally evolves during firing and may reveal more turquoise, deep blue, green, brown or crystalline effects depending on the individual piece and its position in the kiln.

The edges, movement of the form, asymmetry and glaze reactions are unique to every creation.

These differences are not imperfections. They are an essential part of the handmade process.

Your Laguna will be created especially for you.

I will use the pieces shown in the photographs as inspiration to preserve their spirit, balance and visual language while allowing the clay to develop a completely new form.

The process includes shaping, drying, a first kiln firing, glazing and a final high-temperature firing.
