A large sculptural wall composition made of five ceramic medallions, suspended on a gold structure, in a warm, mineral and luminous brown palette.

Lia Brown *5 is a modular wall composition designed to bring movement, texture and soft architectural elegance to an interior.

It combines five handmade ceramic medallions with a brushed gold aluminum wall structure. The organic, slightly asymmetrical forms are suspended with gold rings, giving the whole piece a fluid visual rhythm, somewhere between balance, movement and sculptural presence.

Each element explores a different material atmosphere:

– a transparent glaze revealing lightly grogged beige clay

– a deep chestnut brown glaze with warm variations

– a Plum glaze blending taupe, brown and beige tones with delicate burgundy crystallized effects

– a darker mineral brown glaze enriched with caramel nuances and crystalline reflections

– a luminous honey glaze with golden nuances and deep variations

Together, these finishes create a rich dialogue between raw texture, earthy tones, mineral reflections and golden warmth.

Lia Brown *5 sits somewhere between design object, wall sculpture and contemporary decorative composition. Its larger format gives it a real presence in the space, while keeping a calm and refined elegance.

Each composition is made individually in my studio in Portugal. The medallions are shaped and glazed by hand, making every installation subtly different and impossible to reproduce identically.

Its elongated format brings rhythm and presence to a wall without feeling heavy. It can be used as a main wall piece or integrated into a more architectural decor.

HANDMADE NOTE

Each medallion is shaped, glazed and assembled individually. The forms are organic, the surfaces react differently during firing, and the reflections can never be reproduced exactly.

Each Lia Brown *5 therefore has its own nuances, movement and visual balance.
