Dark, graphic and sophisticated, LIA XS - Black Brass combines deep shades of black, slate and wine with the warmth of gold-tone details.

Its four stoneware medallions are entirely shaped by hand: two black medallions with subtle shimmering reflections, one matte slate medallion and one deep wine-colored medallion.

Light reveals the different textures of the composition: the black surfaces catch delicate reflections, the matte slate absorbs the light, while the wine tone brings a rich and unexpected touch of color.

Connected by delicate gold-tone rings, these contrasts give Black Brass an almost jewelry-like quality, both contemporary and organic.

Designed for smaller spaces

With its narrow 12 cm / 4.7 in silhouette, LIA XS brings genuine sculptural presence to smaller sections of wall that can often be difficult to decorate.

Beside a mirror, between two openings, next to a bed, in an entryway or hallway, its vertical shape adds character without overwhelming the space.

As every element is individually shaped by hand, slight variations in shape and dimensions may naturally occur.

Entirely handmade in Portugal

Each medallion is individually shaped, finished, glazed and fired in my studio in Portugal, without the use of molds.

The organic edges, subtle irregularities and variations in the surfaces are an integral part of the piece.

The glazes may also reveal slightly different nuances depending on the light and from one firing to another, ensuring that no two LIA wall hangings will ever be exactly alike.

Installation

LIA XS comes ready to install with its decorative wall mount and suitable screw.

You will simply need to choose a wall anchor suitable for your wall type.

Love Black Brass but looking for something larger ?

The XS format was specifically designed for narrower spaces, but the Black Brass palette can also be adapted to a larger composition.

The medallions can be created in S, M or L sizes, or the entire composition can be redesigned to suit your space.
