Drap’N’Dip - Sculptural Draped Tray

A handmade draped ceramic tray designed as both a sculptural object and a functional everyday piece.

Drap’N’Dip was imagined as a fragment of fabric frozen in clay.

Entirely handmade and shaped without molds, this sculptural ceramic tray features soft flowing folds inspired by draped textiles, suspended movement and organic forms.

Its fluid silhouette creates subtle shadows and movement depending on the light, giving the piece a quiet but expressive presence somewhere between functional object and decorative sculpture.

Designed for everyday rituals and thoughtful interiors, it can become:
– an aperitif tray
– an olive or condiment dish
– a jewelry catchall

Minimal yet highly recognizable, Drap’N’Dip embodies the draped aesthetic that defines some of Clay’Milie’s most signature creations.

Each piece is individually shaped and glazed by hand in my studio in Portugal, making every draped form unique and impossible to reproduce identically.
