This handmade ceramic wall hanging is composed of four asymmetrical ceramic medallions, each shaped by hand into an organic form and arranged to create a flowing, balanced composition.

Its palette moves through several shades of blue: the soft, cloudy depth of Milky Way, the luminous freshness of Laguna, the intensity of Deep Blue, and the casual softness of Jeans. Together, these tones create a piece that feels calm, refined and subtly alive - like light shifting over water, stone and sky.

Each medallion is glazed on the front and left more raw on the back, highlighting the contrast between the sculptural ceramic surface and the handmade process behind it. The composition is mounted on a brushed gold aluminium wall support, with gold rings that add a delicate, elegant finish without stealing attention from the ceramics.

Lia Blue is both decorative and sculptural: a wall object with presence, but also softness. The kind of piece that quietly changes the mood of a room - bringing depth, texture and a touch of poetry, without ever feeling too precious.

Each Lia is handmade in my ceramic studio in Portugal. The irregular shapes, glaze variations and subtle handmade marks are part of its character: no two pieces can ever be exactly the same, and that is what makes each one special.
